"We work in close cooperation with our customers to develop solutions that focus on a specific product," explained Mosca CEO Timo Mosca. "Our top priority is on the stability and safety of products – in everything from semi-automatic to high-capacity transport processes." At LogiMAT, the technology leader will demonstrate how this concept works in practice with two strapping machines configured for specific product groups.
Edge protectors support products
The EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6-H has been successful from the start when it comes to securing bulky and heavy goods. With its new vertical edge protection feeder, this machine is ideal for strapping fragile or stacked products. The machine comes factory equipped with a magazine for edge protection elements in three different sizes. This allows operators to configure the machine for the specific products to be strapped. Large edge protector dispensers ensure maximum machine availability. Up to 55 edge protectors (40 x 40 mm and 3 mm thick) can be stored in a single dispenser. This makes eco-friendly transport protection possible with stacked fruit trays, palletized boxes or plastic crates.
Stand-alone strapping machine for hands-on operation
The EVOLUTION SoniXs MS-6 KR-ZV is the machine of choice when it comes to a flexible solution for the "last mile" before transport. It is ideal for online or retail order picking processes, especially when the machine operator needs to manually roll dollies or palettes into the machine. Thanks to its reduced strap tension with a maximum of 450N, the machine is CE-compliant from the factory if used without a driven conveyor system and can be operated without an enclosure or defined safety zone.
The machine is designed for user-friendly operation. But different workflows and package formats play an important role as well. A movable strap lance enables strapping between crosspieces or pallet feet and ensures maximum flexibility on the job.
