AMI’S POLYMER SUPPLY CHAIN CONFERENCE 2020 PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED

Disruptive forces, risks and uncertainties are defining the current polymer industry outlook. The trade dispute between the US and China is expected to continue causing certain unpredictability to chemical demand, while the US expansion of chemical production capacity is putting pressure on margins. The swing for circular economy and sustainability is also pushing industry players across the supply chain to adapt their strategic investments and it is putting pressure on their short-term performance.

AMI’s Polymer Sourcing & Distribution conference, taking place 12-14 May in Hamburg, reviews global and regional trends in sourcing and distribution of polymers. Presentations cover feedstock, including a focus on the Middle Eastern polyolefin market, distribution dynamics in Russia and the impact of new regulations on the European market. The conference will also cover recycled polymers, circular economy, e-commerce and digitalisation of sales platforms.

The event starts with a valuable networking cocktail reception followed by two days of presentations by key players from the industry including Elix Polymers, Ineos Styrolution, Vinmar International, Biesterfeld Plastic, Interpolimeri, PRS Return System, Plasticfinder, Polymermarketplace, Plastribution and many more...
