“Held every three years, UTECH Europe is the highlight of the international polyurethanes calendar,” said Debbie Hershfield, Trade Show Director at organiser Crain Communications. “Some health, safety and travel restrictions may still be in place in first part of 2021. Postponing UTECH Europe until September will allow our exhibitors and visitors the very best opportunity for a successful show.”
UTECH Europe is uniquely placed as the only truly international exhibition and conference for the polyurethanes industry. Unique to Europe is the sheer breadth of the applications of polyurethanes technology from automotive interiors, medical devices, textiles, furniture and footwear through to insulation, adhesives and coatings. When last held in 2018, the triennial UTECH Europe attracted over 200 exhibiting companies and a total footfall over three days of 10,113.
Over 90 per cent of exhibition space for the event has already been sold. Exhibiting companies include industry leaders BASF, BorsodChem ZRT, Concentrol, Covestro, Evonik, Hennecke, Huntsman, Lanxess, Milliken, Repsol, Shell Chemicals Europe and Solvay as well as machinery suppliers, systems houses, technical consultancies, and test laboratories.
