arburgXvision is back on air: The show goes on!

The show goes on! From 2.00 p.m. on 19 May, the interactive Internet TV series will tackle more exciting topics in the plastics industry – in an informative, professional and entertaining manner. The title of the twelfth episode is "Plastic as an innovation driver - new materials and what they bring!" Arburg experts Gerhard Böhm, Managing Director Sales and Service, and Dr. Philipp Kloke, Application and Process Development, will discuss this topic with Peter Barlog, Managing Partner of the company with the same name, under moderation of Guido Marschall from Plas.TV. There will be a switch to Lossburg, so that viewers can also gain some practical insights into Fibre Direct-Compounding.

At the heart of the one-hour-long programme in German is the discussion between the high-profile experts. In this episode, they will explain e. g. new material trends and new developments. In addition, there are important future aspects such as the requirements that injection moulding machine and production process must fulfil in order to recyclate processing, as well as the expansion of Circular Economy. The viewers will of course be involved in the programme again. They can pose questions directly to the experts in the Arburg studio and Lossburg.

 

Application examples of innovative processes
To round off the programme there will be a switch to the Arburg headquarters in Lossburg. Here, Manuel Wöhrle from the "Applications & Industries" area will show a concrete application example of Fibre Direct-Compounding (FDC) for the cost-effective manufacture of serial parts from fibre-reinforced plastics. In the innovative FDC process, tailored continuous fibres are directly added to the liquid melt.
