Application examples of innovative processes
To round off the programme there will be a switch to the Arburg headquarters in Lossburg. Here, Manuel Wöhrle from the "Applications & Industries" area will show a concrete application example of Fibre Direct-Compounding (FDC) for the cost-effective manufacture of serial parts from fibre-reinforced plastics. In the innovative FDC process, tailored continuous fibres are directly added to the liquid melt.
