The market growth was over 14.5% year on year. The average profitability dropped from 7.63% in 2020 to 6.95% a year later. The reason is mainly due to the sharp rise in commodity prices. Excluding the price increase effect, the rigid packaging market grew in volume in 2021 by approx. 2%.
ALPLA Plastic Packaging has been leading the ranks of leaders in rigid packaging manufacturers in Poland for many years. The company has four production plants in our country. The main processing technologies are injection and blow molding. The company's production is characterized by short cycles and mass production. This means the need for continuous investments, the value of which in 2021 exceeded 34 million. And a year earlier it reached the amount of nearly PLN 62 million.
PROSPERPLAST1 soars high in the field of rigid packaging. The company records sensational financial results and does not hide the fact that it has an appetite for further dynamic development: production capacity, the value of purchased raw materials, and logistics space will increase. Currently, the company has four production plants, warehouses in six Polish cities and logistics centers in Germany and the Czech Republic. A total of over 100,000 m2. Capital expenditures in 2021 amounted to PLN 86.6 million. PLN 53 million is planned for 2022.
