Carsten Harms – Chief Executive Officer Carsten leads Omya Performance Polymer Distribution with 40 years’ experience in the field of polymers. Having held senior leadership and Executive Board Member roles at Biesterfeld Group, he has been instrumental in the development of polymer businesses around the globe.

Stefan Kutta – President, Global High-Performance Polymers Stefan brings extensive international leadership experience across Europe, the USA, China and Switzerland. Most recently Global Vice President at Celanese, he has led global engineering polymer businesses across multiple industries and is known for developing high-performance teams.

James Stanton – President, Global Engineering Polymers James, originally from South Africa, has held leadership roles in Ireland, the Netherlands, and the UK. With nearly two decades at Distrupol, most recently a Commercial & Operations Director, he has been central to its integration into Omya (from 1 December).

James (Jim) LeGacy – President, Americas Jim brings leadership experience across OEMs, resin producers, distribution, and compounding. He has held senior roles at Sabic (GE Plastics), Ravago, Titus, and Orion, giving him a unique perspective on the Americans plastics markets.

Gavin Lewis – President, Europe, Middle East & Africa With 25 years at Omya, Gavin has held multiple global polymer leadership roles and was instrumental in creating Omya Performance Polymer Distribution, He combines deep organizational knowledge with a strong focus on building Customer and Principal partnerships.

Ramli Chan – President, Asia Pacific Region Ramli has over 20 years’ experience in polymer distribution across Asia Pacific. Most recently Sales Director at GME Chemicals (Biesterfeld), he expanded plastics and rubber market reach and built strong Principal relationships.

Thomas Hein – Director, Global Supply Chain Management Thomas brings over 30 years’ experience of supply chain leadership across healthcare, pharma, and automotive. He played a key role in the Dow/DuPont merger, driving transformation in specialty plastics logistics and customer service (from 1 November).

Paolo Giorgi – Director, Global Finance Paolo continues to lead global finance at OPPD, bringing financial leadership and international management experience that strengthen the division’s operational foundation.

Mitchel Choo – Director, Global Strategic Projects Mitchel is highly experienced and accomplished in business development, strategy management and project directorship, having been instrumental in the success of multiple strategic expansion projects within Omya and the global chemical distribution business.
