Lanxess pozbywa się Envalior

LANXESS podjął decyzję o skorzystaniu z przysługującego mu prawa umownego do zaoferowania sprzedaży wszystkich swoich akcji Envalior ( 40,94 % ) swojemu partnerowi joint venture , spółce inwestycyjnej Advent International. Z zastrzeżeniem dostępności finansowania, partner joint venture jest zobowiązany do nabycia całości lub połowy akcji LANXESS z dniem 1 kwietnia 2026 r. Czy i w jakim zakresie sprzedaż akcji zostanie sfinalizowana, będzie wiadomo najpóźniej do marca 2026 r.

Envalior at the VDI

Envalior’s appearance at the VDI “Plastics in Automotive Engineering 2023” congress in Mannheim will focus on material and technology solutions for battery-electric and fuel-cell-powered vehicles. An additional focus will be on the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and on the latest trends in vehicle technology such as advanced driver assistance systems. “Through our innovations, we want to make vehicles lighter, safer and more powerful. A particular focus here is on increasing the use of sustainable materials based on recycled or bio-based raw materials, which not only reduce the carbon footprint of the application but also promote the establishment of resource-conserving material cycles,” says Julian Haspel, head of the e-Powertrain team at Envalior.

Envalior at JEC World 2023

At JEC World, which will take place in Paris from April 25 through 27, Envalior will be showcasing new material and technological developments in its portfolio of continuous-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites under the Tepex brand. The focus will be on applications for electric transportation and consumer electronics as well as sports and leisure. The spotlight will be on sustainable material solutions, too. “Through our interactive digital presentation, we also want to introduce key elements of our value chain with which we support our customers in the development and manufacture of components using our high-performance composite materials,” says Dr. Dirk Bonefeld, Head of Global Product Management and Marketing for Tepex at Envalior.
