Ten strategiczny ruch dodatkowo pokazuje zaangażowanie linii biznesowej w przejrzystość i rozliczalność wobec klientów w odniesieniu do cyrkularności i zrównoważonego rozwoju produktów i usług. W tej chwili opublikowano dane LCA dla ponad 100 produktów, a w przyszłości spodziewane są dane dotyczące większej liczby produktów.

Evonik launches TEGO® Cycle additives portfolio

Evonik has introduced a diverse range of additives under the brand name TEGO® Cycle to help its customers improve process and increase the final quality of recycled plastics. Designed to save energy during the mechanical recycling process, the TEGO® Cycle portfolio of additives also enhances the quality of polymers, enabling the transition of the plastics value chain into a ‘value cycle.

IMCD becomes new distributor for Evonik

IMCD, a global leader in the distribution of specialty chemicals and ingredients has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with Evonik, a specialty chemicals company. Under this agreement, IMCD will serve as Evonik’s European distributor for its Medical Care series, covering EEA countries including the United Kingdom and Switzerland. This partnership represents a step forward for IMCD in expanding its presence in the market segment of medical devices. Taken effect on 1 May 2023, this agreement will enable Evonik to expand its reach and to better serve its customers.

Evonik expands VESTAMID®

Evonik is doubling its global capacity for VESTAMID® E, polyether block amide (PEBA), with a twofold approach including a major expansion of its production plant at the Multi-User-Site (MUSC) in Shanghai, and an optimization project at its production facility in Marl, Germany. Construction at the Shanghai site starts in Fall 2023 and will increase the company’s ability for the polymerization of PEBA, a key step in producing the raw material, which is highly demanded by the global, athletic footwear market.

Evonik and Asiga

The specialty chemicals company Evonik and Australia’s 3D printer manufacturer Asiga are strengthening their collaboration in photopolymer-based 3D printing. Both companies aim to drive forward 3D printing large-scale industrial manufacturing by extending today’s capabilities of photo-curing technologies. Evonik is contributing its expertise in development and manufacturing of ready-to-use photopolymer materials. Asiga, in turn, is bringing its innovative strength in DLP 3D printers with their open material architecture to the joint effort. Evonik will present the entire portfolio of the INFINAM® photopolymers during the AMUG Conference in Chicago, USA (April 3-7, 2022).
