Protect electric vehicle batteries

Automotive experts from Huntsman have added a series of new lightweight, durable polyurethane foam technologies to the company’s battery solutions portfolio that have been developed for the potting and fixation of cells mounted in electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The new range also includes products that can be used as a moldable encapsulant in battery modules or packs.

Peter Huntsman, Prezes i Dyrektor Generalny firmy, poprowadził uroczystość, do której dołączyli liderzy biznesu oraz 60 pracowników już zatrudnionych w centrum. Uroczystości towarzyszyło symboliczne przecięcie wstęgi.

Footwear experts at Huntsman have developed an innovative polyurethane midsole material for the safety and military shoe market, which has been tested and qualified by uvex for use in its uvex 1 G2 safety shoes. DALTOPED® DuraLite Energy lightweight polyurethane material combines the high cushioning and energy return properties expected of sports footwear, with the durability needed to create long-lasting, protective work shoes.
